Miss Zelle's science classes learned about decomposing bananas. They put a slice of banana into a bag by itself, and a slice of banana into a bag with yeast. We observed the bananas over 4 days. Today, students concluded that the banana with yeast decomposed faster, and that yeast was a decomposer.
