- Point- an exact location in space (tip of a pencil)
- Line- straight and continues on in both directions (latitude and longitude)
- Line Segment- a part of a line, has a stopping and starting point
- Ray- has one endpoint and continues on in one direction. (rays of the sun)
- Angle- two rays meet at one endpoint
- Vertex- the endpoint
- Acute angle- less than 90degrees and greater than zero degrees (ahh is it so cute)
- Right angle- equal to 90 degrees (a square corner)
- Obtuse angle- greater than 90 degrees and less than 180 degrees (obese angle)
- Straight angle- equal to 180 degrees (a line)
- Intersecting lines- lines that meet at exactly one point
- Parallel lines- lines that will never meet
- Perpendicular lines- lines that meet and form for right angles
- Coordinate points- Over then up (you have to walk over to the mountain before you can walk up it)
