Ecosystems Project with Miss Zelle
In Miss Zelle's science class, students are working in groups this week and next to learn about specific biomes around our world. The biomes they are researching and learning about are the arctic tundra, tropical rain forests, temperate forests, grasslands, deserts, and tide pools. This week they are researching about their biome's physical characteristics, which includes, what it looks like, and it's climate, which includes the average rainfall, and the average temperature of the biome. They are also researching where their ecosystem is located and coloring a map. Students are going to be researching and making a list of the plants and animals in their ecosystem. They are doing their research using books pulled from Sappington's library and websites bookmarked in the science folder on the website www.ikeepbookmarks.com/zelle4
